["TourniKueT" 2003 - 2007] Industrial rock band "TourniKueT" was founded in mid-2003 by (vocalist & producer) "m0sh" and (guitarist) "Damien Byrne, and ended in late 2007 as a result of the bands name & line-up change after a falling out with "Damien Byrne". TourniKueT was known for their unconventional, hard rock & metal-influenced guitar, catchy industrial drum beats and their raw, low-fi sound backed by a selection of classic horror film samples. During their career as "TourniKueT" they released 5 demo CD's & cassettes that were sold exclusively at their live shows and official appearances, a variety of promotional merchandise including t-shirts, posters, women's underwear & much more, as well as a music video for their local radio hit "Tangled Web". Although the band only played a handful of shows under the name "TourniKuet", it didn't stop them from gaining a controversial reputation at many venues in the area. Their live performances had become infamous for harassment, drug-use, under-age fans, and, more specifically, a violent riot following an earlier performance. Shorty after the band released their late-2007 single ("Voices") "TourniKueT" and long-time guitarist "Damien Byrne" parted ways over "personal differences" & an alleged drug problem. The band then recruited new members and officially became "Nekrotrip" soon after.
["Nekrotrip" 2008 - Present] Alternative metal band "Nekrotrip" officially began in 2008, with the recording of their first single ("Better Dayz") which was immediately met with good reviews & radio play upon its release. Soon after the band began a promotional mini-tour, performing new songs from their forthcoming debut CD and a handful of "TourniKueT" cult favorites. Unfortunately, as a result of unexpected line-up changes their debut release ended up being scrapped, with only rough versions of a few songs being available online. "Nekrotrip" then spent the remainder of 2009 recording an all new demo with their new line-up and by early 2010 the band had signed with Hip-Hop label "Bizzle Muzik Ent." for a promotion, recording & distribution deal. "Nekrotrip" promoted their newest release with live performances, throwback flyers/posters, a video blog & making public appearances at local colleges that featuring audio production classes. Soon after, the highly anticipated 2010 demo was officially released and was "out of print" with "Bizzle Muzik Ent."'s distribution within a few months. Also an official music video for "Dead Girlz Don't Cry", the current single, was recorded and released online as well as being featured on "Nekrotrip"'s minimally distributed untitled 2010 DVD. The 2010 demo will be re-released in 2011 and is said to feature several bonus tracks, including a collaboration with fellow "Bizzle Muzik Ent." artist "Bizz". As of early 2011 the band has begun recording their 2011 release, described by guitarist "Ryan Mckenzie" as "an infinite apocalyptic death-chamber of brutality".
