Sinister TrailerPark Magic was formed in October 2005, by four seasoned musicians (each with at least 400 shows and five albums experience) sick of what mordern music had become. They decided their new band would encompass everything music hadn't been doing for them. They said goodbye to their respective bands and touring gigs and then began to write and rehearse furiously. They gradually widdled a massive repetoire down to 12 songs which they recorded in April-June 2006 (mostly on weekends) The album took on a life of it's own in the studio, and turned out to be what reviewers now dub "a sonic masterpiece" of unparalelled variety and intensity drawing from countless influences. It can never be justfied by words, it has to be heard.
The album is now in the final phase of release (JUL06) under the Spinerazor Records label. It will be distributed in USA and Canada by Navarre (Universal) Oct 2006 one short year after the Band's conception. The album is a technical masterpiece with complex rhythm changes, varieties of genre, speed, and melody, making it a totally original animal. Live, The Band is unparalelled. They are an instense explosion of life using only their talents and rage to entertain the crowd providing a totally raw experience wrought with energy and humor.
Pancake Porterhouse / Press Release: Sinister Trailerpark Magic's self titled release is a cd from which other bands will surely take inspiration. Their heavy "Rack and Ruin" style music will knock your socks off and shove them into your mouth until you're screaming through the cotton with joy. This STPM release delivers insanely heavy hardcore to exceptionally fast punk, including several doses of technically charged metal, and eclectic devastating dirges. At first listen, the industry indicates the musical style intangible and diffucult to categorize by genre or influence
